Advertising is crazy. One day you get a radio script assignment. The next day, one of your scripts is liked enough that it gets turned into a TV spot. And said script is starring NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. showing off his lightning-fast valet skills.
This was just one of six spots for The Hard Rock Bet Party, airing all football season long. You can read more about the campaign here.
As for the actual radio scripts I was assigned to do, I got to poke fun at Mike Tyson’s lisp by having him assure two partygoers that their money is th-afe and th-ound with Hard Rock Bet.
